| Ron and my husband were the best of fenirds when they were in the Army. Even though my husband passed away in 1980 Ron continued to keep in touch with our family. I hadn't heard from him in quite some time. Last night I did a Google search and what sorrow I experienced to read of his death way back in September!Every thing that I have read about Ron is so true! Yes, he liked his JD but he also drank iced coffee way before it was the in thing to do! Rest in peace, Ron. | I first met Ron at a postcard show some<a href="http://owunfjffj.com"> thtriy</a> years ago. He came to my booth and told me that he collected cards pertaining to baseball, and WWII propaganda cards. I had no idea who he was at the time, but over the years, we would see each other at other shows, and I found out who Ron Menchine really was. He was a very unassuming man, and always had a smile on his face. We became friends. When I stopped doing the shows in 2001, we would continue our friendship via the telephone, and I just spoke to him six weeks ago about the Gerard Bank, Perez-Steele postcard set. Ron not only knew his baseball, but he was like an encyclopedia with his knowledge of the subjects of the postcards he collected.I am going to miss him, as I am sure everyone else will.Richard |

| Mitec, ehh.. Mi piacerebbe un sacco. Sono un po' <a href="http://cxxwtz.com">imtcpiiaca</a> (sai che con editor ecc. le cose si fanno sempre all'ultimo secondo) ma presto, prometto. E' che anche andare al mare, non c'e8 vicino, o sbaglio? E poi alberghi ecc. saranno tutti pieni prenotati da mesi..Perf2 si potrebbe venire in giornata, sono solo 2 ore.:) |
